JANUARY PRAISE AND PRAYER LETTER

We are excited to share that today we celebrate 4 years of the Lord calling me to minister here in Mexico! God has done many changes throughout these years. We are very much excited to be part of what He will continue to do this year.
It is official! I have been accepted to be a student at La Huerta School of Missions and Pastoral Training. As we shared in our last letter, the Lord had placed a desire to grow deeper in His word. Throughout the last months, God had confirmed that it was time for me to take this step of faith. I believe He has incredible plans and I just need to be obedient to what He has called me do.
My wife will continue to serve on the school campus and will help me with my duties around the church. She has been an amazing support. I thank God for her as she always pushes me to give my best.
6 other students have also been accepted to the school! This is going to be a great semester! All praise and Glory be to God.
This month we start our second service at Calvary Chapel La Paz. We ask that you may keep this new service in your prayers and that the Lord may continue to do His will in this place.

¡Hoy celebramos 4 años desde que el Señor me llamo a ministrar aquí en México! Dios ha hecho muchos cambios a través de estos años. Estamos muy emocionados de ser parte de lo que continuará haciendo este año.
¡Es oficial! Fui aceptado como estudiante en la Escuela de Misiones y Ministerio Pastoral La Huerta. Como compartimos en nuestra última carta, el Señor había puesto un deseo en mi corazón de profundizar en Su palabra. Durante los últimos meses, Dios confirmó que era tiempo de dar este paso de fe. Se que tiene planes increíbles y solo necesito ser obediente a lo que Él me ha llamado a hacer.
Mi esposa continuará sirviendo en el campus de la escuela y me ayudará con mis deberes en la iglesia. Ella ha sido un apoyo increíble. Doy gracias a Dios por ella, ya que siempre me empuja a dar lo mejor de mí.
¡Otros 6 estudiantes más también han sido aceptados en la escuela! ¡Este va a ser un gran semestre! Toda alabanza y Gloria sea para Dios.
Este mes comenzamos nuestro segundo servicio en Calvary Chapel La Paz. Le pedimos que ponga este nuevo servicio en sus oraciones y que el Señor pueda continuar haciendo su voluntad en este lugar.

Hello all! I figured since I've been a missionary for over two years it was about time to write an update on what the Lord has been doing in Mexico, and in my life personally! Because this is my first newsletter, I want to give a quick background to what I have been up to for the past 2 years here in Mexico. ROSARITO On January 10th, 2014, God called me to Mexico. For six months I was in Rosarito, Mexico, serving at a church as an intern. Alongside six other guys, my responsibility was to clean the church, set up for events and bible studies, and be available to serve whenever possible. This was a really good time of humbling for me. JANUARY 2019

2019 has finally arrived and this month we celebrate 5 years of serving here in Mexico! We are so joyful for all that God has done these wonderful years. I do apologize for not writing updates for the past few months, but I would like to catch you up on some things that happened last year Blake: As many of you know last year I was praying about starting school in the Pastorship Training program here in La Paz. Well, in September of 2018 I began school. It has been such an amazing blessing to be able study the word of God, and I have learned so much.  Part of this program is that we get to do a Biblical Analysis. We go through every book of the bible and write a paragraph analysis for every major character, place, and event in the book. This is extremely time consuming and difficult, but I have personally seen what a huge blessing it is to dig through and study deeply in the scriptures. SCHOOL IS OUT!  After spending 6 months in the 1st part of the pastoral ministry program my wife and I are ready to head to California today!  Tomorrow,  Wednesday July 25th, I will be sharing at my Church Calvary Chapel Lake Elsinore. I would love for you to join us as I have been given the privilege to share with you what has been going on these past few years. LA HUERTA- GOD IS FAITHFUL!! Last weekend we had our first graduation at La Huerta it was filled with celebration! It brought joy to our hearts to see these young women and men dedicate their life to ministry. The Lord is doing a great work in this school and has provided land to start building the school facilities!!! CALVARY CHAPEL LA PAZ- WE ARE MOVING OUT!!!! After being in this church building for 3 years the Lord has blessed us with a new building with a great location, right in front of the university. Once we are back after our 2-week break, we will start to move out and expect to be installed by August 12th.  We
