FEBRUARY PRAISE AND PRAYER LETTER

(ENGLISH)
Hey everyone we are very excited about a new project coming up this month where we will be able to use our gifts and talents that the Lord has given us by allowing us to connect with others around the city of La Paz.
This project is called “Bridges.” We believe that the Lord will use this ministry to meet, connect and share with others about the love of Christ.
College students are required to know a certain percentage of English in order to graduate. Bridges will be a conversational group for anyone who has the desire to learn or reinforce their English skills. We believe God will use Bridges to connect people to our young adults group & even our local church.
Please pray for :
- God’s will to be done in this program. That His spirit may direct us in every step of the way
- That others may step up and be part of the Bridge Team. We are blessed to be working with Nestor, Jessica, Job & Jocelyn. << Keep them in your prayers since they still have other areas of ministry, and yet they want to be part of this outreach program.
- Last but not least, pray that God will prepare the hearts of those who come along.
On another note, even though all these new changes have been hard, Blake has enjoyed being in school and going through this process. It’s been amazing to see how the Lord gives him good understand in all his Spanish classes.
Please pray that the Lord provides wisdom in how to manage time between school, homework, ministry & his household.
Calvary Chapel La Paz has started their second service and the Lord has been faithful to bring out his people and others to be part of this growing church. It is truly a privilege to be part of God’s work.
Thank you for your constant prayers. The Lord has answered every single one of them. We love you dearly!

¡Hola a todos! estamos muy entusiasmados con la presentación de un nuevo proyecto este mes en el que podremos utilizar nuestros dones y talentos que el Señor nos ha dado y el cual nos permitirá conectarnos con otras personas en la ciudad de La Paz.
Este proyecto se llama "Bridges" (Puentes), creemos que el Señor usará este ministerio para reunirnos, conectarnos y compartir con otros sobre el amor de Jesús.
El estudiante a nivel universitario requiere un cierto porcentaje de inglés para poder graduarse. Bridges será un grupo de conversación para cualquiera que tenga el deseo de aprender o reforzar sus habilidades en el idioma inglés. Creemos que Dios usará bridge para conectar a las personas con nuestro grupo de jóvenes adultos e incluso con nuestra iglesia local.
Por favor ore por:
- Se haga la voluntad de Dios en este programa. Que su espíritu pueda dirigirnos en cada paso del camino
-Que otras personas puedan integrarse y ser parte del Equipo. Tenemos la bendición de trabajar junto con Nestor, Jessica, Job y Jocelyn. << Manténganlos en sus oraciones también, ya que todavía tienen otras áreas de ministerio, sin embargo, comparten la misma vision para ser parte de este programa de alcance comunitario.
- Por último, pero no menos importante, ore para que Dios prepare los corazones de los que se presenten.
En otra nota. A pesar que a sido un poco difícil los cambios de este año Blake ha disfrutado estar en la escuela y pasar por este proceso. Ha sido sorprendente ver cómo el Señor le da un buen entendimiento en todas sus clases a pesar de que todas impartidas en español.
Por favor, oren para que el Señor le brinde sabiduría sobre cómo administrar el tiempo entre la escuela, la tarea, el ministerio y su hogar
Calvary Chapel La Paz ha comenzado su segundo servicio y el Señor ha sido fiel para traer a su gente y a otros para ser parte de esta iglesia en crecimiento. Verdaderamente es un privilegio ser parte del trabajo de Dios.
Gracias por sus oraciones constantes. El Señor ha respondido a cada uno de ellos ¡Les amamos mucho!

Hello all! I figured since I've been a missionary for over two years it was about time to write an update on what the Lord has been doing in Mexico, and in my life personally! Because this is my first newsletter, I want to give a quick background to what I have been up to for the past 2 years here in Mexico. ROSARITO On January 10th, 2014, God called me to Mexico. For six months I was in Rosarito, Mexico, serving at a church as an intern. Alongside six other guys, my responsibility was to clean the church, set up for events and bible studies, and be available to serve whenever possible. This was a really good time of humbling for me. I had been living a comfortable life style in U.S. and then I was living in a tiny apartment with 6 other guys cleaning a church everyday..... At first, I wasn't to excited. JANUARY 2019

2019 has finally arrived and this month we celebrate 5 years of serving here in Mexico! We are so joyful for all that God has done these wonderful years. I do apologize for not writing updates for the past few months, but I would like to catch you up on some things that happened last year Blake: As many of you know last year I was praying about starting school in the Pastorship Training program here in La Paz. Well, in September of 2018 I began school. It has been such an amazing blessing to be able study the word of God, and I have learned so much.  Part of this program is that we get to do a Biblical Analysis. We go through every book of the bible and write a paragraph analysis for every major character, place, and event in the book. This is extremely time consuming and difficult, but I have personally seen what a huge blessing it is to dig through and study deeply in the scriptures. GRADUATING FROM BIBLE COLLEGE

• SUMMER UPDATE • It has been a while since I last wrote a newsletter. So much has been going on and I would like to share that with you. After a year and a half  I finally graduate from La Huerta - Missions & Pastoral Ministry school. I could not be more thankful for everything that the Lord has taught  me and has allowed me to be part of. During this time I began to appreciate more the work of ministry. When entering this program my only desire was to learn more about His word and be able to share that with others and do ministry in a more effective way. I am grateful for all the teachers from here and those who traveled from far away to invest time to share their experiences and wisdom with us. My classmates inspired me so much in so many areas and I have the honor to be representing our class today as valedictorian. Through them God has graciously shown what ministry is all about.
