Hey Everyone, this month we will like to share something that God spoke to our lives. At the beginning of the month we had plans to meet with a couple from the church to have dinner. As we were waiting outside for them to arrive, suddenly, we heard gunshots. When we thought it was all over, the shooting continued more intensely. Everyone immediately ducked down and got inside the restaurant as fast as they could. We rushed upstairs, got on our knees and started to pray, asking God for everyone's safety. We later found out that a man was murdered and his wife was rushed in to the hospital. Neither of us had experienced anything like this, but God allowed us to realize that tomorrow is not promised for anyone. Everyday is truly a gift from heaven. We can get so caught up with our busy lives, that we forget to stop and thank God for our daily breath.  


Pray for the City of La Paz, Mexico. Lately, there have been some cartel issues. We have never experienced something so horrifying. Some of our friends from church were sharing with us that this happens around their home quite frequently. Even during the day, in the middle of supermarkets.


But in the midst of all this, God continues to do amazing things.


La Huerta School of Misiones - It has been a great first month of the school year! It’s so gratifying to see how the students are growing & how God shows us how we could serve them better.


Calvary Chapel La Paz- The Lord is also doing some awesome things at our church! Pretty soon the church will go to a second service! Pray that God guides the pastor and leaders in these upcoming changes. A couple of weeks, two of our brothers stepped up in obedience to be baptized. The new young-adult ministry (KALEO), has done so well. The Lord has great plans for this group. Please pray for guidance as the Lord has placed us to help coordinate the group. Next week, the church will go out to a hospital to evangelize. We will be able to share hope found in Jesus to those who are going through tough times.


Personal - God has truly taken care of us in every way. Our situation with the IRS has been taken care of. PRAISE GOD! We are also very happy to finally be all moved in to our new little home!  Thank you so much for your constant prayers, support and words of encouragement. Please feel free to message us. Hey everyone! It’s been a while since we´ve updated you on our journey serving here in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. | A P R I L | Last month, my class had the opportunity to do a short mission trip to a small town just north of La Paz. We were able to go out to this small town and fellowship with the brothers of the church out there and minister to the little ones during their spring break. At the beginning of the month, we were able to take time off and have a silent retreat with our church. We went out to a ranch in the mountains and had quiet times with the Lord. It was a refreshing time to spend with the Lord with no distractions. It was an open invitation to everyone in the city and we had the privilege of having other people outside of the church join us. Last Prayer Letter 2017

2017 has been one of the best years ministering in Mexico. I thank God for allowing me to serve alongside my lovely little wife. In January 2017, my wife and I were called to serve at La Huerta School of Missions and Pastoral Training in La Paz, Mexico. Moving down here was one of the best decisions we have made. The first 8 months were full of challenges and preparation. The 3 months after that were even more difficult, since the school was up and running; students were finally on campus. We now are ready to see them go on their first missionary practice. Some will be serving here in La Paz, others in Guadalajara, Vizcaíno, Ensenada, and one student will even go to Canada! It has been amazing to see how the Lord has been teaching these students. As I’ve been watching them grow, the Lord has placed a desire in my heart to know His Word in a deeper way. First Newsletter

Hello all! I figured since I've been a missionary for over two years it was about time to write an update on what the Lord has been doing in Mexico, and in my life personally! Because this is my first newsletter, I want to give a quick background to what I have been up to for the past 2 years here in Mexico. ROSARITO On January 10th, 2014, God called me to Mexico. For six months I was in Rosarito, Mexico, serving at a church as an intern. Alongside six other guys, my responsibility was to clean the church, set up for events and bible studies, and be available to serve whenever possible. This was a really good time of humbling for me. I had been living a comfortable life style in U.S. and then I was living in a tiny apartment with 6 other guys cleaning a church everyday..... At first, I wasn't to excited.
