JULY NEWSLETTER

Hi this is Luisa! This time it's my turn to share our newsletter! Last month, we shared with you the difficult times that we were going through. For us it seemed like it was one thing after another. God has always been faithful to hold us through these big and small trails. Through all of this, He took care of us and taught us many things:

With the car accident, I was so worried we couldn’t pick up some of the kids for youth group. The car door didn't open. But it was fun to jump in and out of the window, no big deal, it still works. On top of that our engine was starting to fail. But God has been faithful to meet our needs. Someone generously gave to help us repair the damage.  Our car is now running well and the door now opens. God took care of it.

We struggled in our marriage over small things. It has been tough to die to yourself every single day. But we’ve seen how we grow to love one another after communicating and seeing what we can do to improve & glorify God with our marriage. God is taking care of it.

Only by the grace of God we pushed through and chose to praise HIM for all His goodness. Instead of focusing on the circumstances, we kept our focus on the blessings that the Lord places in our lives each and everyday.

Calvary Chapel La Paz
I started teaching in Children’s Ministry (ages 8 - 12). Teaching was something I struggled with, but I believe the Lord was with me all the time. Can't wait till I get to teach again!
The youth outreach went great! We had 7 new youth come. We spoke to them about how God accepts us just as we are. We hope to go to out to that colony soon and see them again.
The Night of Worship was a sweet time to get together and praise our God and thank Him for how good He is to us. Blake has had the privilege to lead worship at church and events.
This summer Pastor Mike McDonald and others are teaching on subjects such as depression, divorce, homosexuality, etc. These services have been a blessing to the congregation. Many of these subjects are hard to talk about but are necessary to be taught.
Blake has done an awesome job in handling the many task that have been given to him. It brings joy to my heart to see how much he absolutely loves serving others. I am beyond blessed to have him as my husband.

La Huerta
Last week we had the privilege to fly up to Ensenada and promote La Huerta Missions Training Center. It was an awesome conference . We also had a chance to visit with some of our friends from Tijuana and Rosarito, my mother and siblings, and Mary and Taylor.

Thank you,
We appreciate your constant prayers & your encouraging messages. We try to post the activities of what the Lord is doing here in La Paz through our Facebook page. Sometimes it’s hard to cram everything in a newsletter or things are so exciting that we can't wait to share with you.

If there is anything you need us to pray for, leave a comment or private message us. Remember that God has always taken care of your needs and will continue to take care of them.
We love you all dearly and thank you for reading about what God is doing here in La Paz, MX.

Prayer Request:
1. Pray for our Pastor. We are 4 weeks away from the arrival of the students here at La Huerta. He will be teaching some of the classes during this time, directing the school and continues to be the Senior Pastor at Calvary Chapel La Paz.
2. Marriage. That God will strengthen our marriage sometimes we get to busy with all the events happening at the church and preparing for La Huerta we forget about our first ministry.

3. City of La Paz. That God will use all of us as His instruments to reach out to the people in this city and minister to them.
