 Blessing Friends and Family,
                The month of April was a busy month! But we have sure enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you for sending out your prayers.  We pray for every one of you on Tuesdays, so please send us any prayer request that you may have. 

Calvary Chapel La Paz- The Church is on Fire
It’s been so good to see the unity in our church. After some changes were made, they chose to leave trouble behind, abide in the Lord and be used by Him.

Friday Night of Prayer
Last month our church got together to pray every friday. We went before the Lord to ask for guidance in our upcoming ministries and events. It was amazing to see the members of the church to come out and join us.  It was even a bigger blessing for us to get to share and hear the needs of other brothers and sisters in Christ.   My wife and I could say that it was very much needed in our life during that time.  And we can see how gracious and loving our Heavenly Father has been to our family. 

We also had the pleasure to have our friends Jeff and Bonnie Johnson come down and do a Marriage Conference.   It was very fun to help with the organization of the conference. We made an extended invitation to other churches and Pastors of different denominations and we had quite an amazing turnout!  We closed out the weekend in prayer together as the body of Christ.

We got a new church sign! It had been a while since any improvements had been made. So it’s nice to have something new.  Our Pastor and Leaders have so much in mind for renovations and we are excited to see how the Lord will open doors and make it happen! 


Donations to La Huerta School of Missions
La Huerta – We are getting ready!
It’s been very exciting to prepare the campuses for the arrival of our students!  Right now, we are planning the dorms where the students will be living, maintaining the garden and trying to make our own garden by planting seeds like tomatoes, chili, melons, and more. At times, we are going out and purchasing the things that are needed for the school and working alongside Uriel to keep track of finances. One of the areas that we are helping is also media and we are loving it. It's always fun to learn new things. We also received a bunch of donations to equip our school! So now we must take inventory and start putting the dorms together. 


Mom and Tay Came to Visit
Answered Prayers:
·         Our Pastor has been doing great leading our church, always open to listen and looks after the best interest of the body of Christ.  Please continue to pray for him.  
·         As we mentioned before, the Lord has provided students and prepared their hearts to come and join us at La Huerta
·         Mom and Taylor got home safe after their visit.  It was a blessing to have them come and visit!




Prayer Request:
Calvary Chapel La Paz
·         We have seen a lot of new faces coming out to church.  Please pray for those new believers and other people that are starting to come to our church.   That the Lord may use Calvary Chapel La Paz to continue to reach the lost.
·          In May, we will have an outreach to the hospital.   Pray that the Lord may use us during this time, that others may come to know Christ.
La Huerta
·         Continue to pray that the Lord will provide more students and prepare their hearts to learn from this school.
Personal
·         That God may continue to give us the energy to continue doing His work here in La Paz.
·         The Lord provided for Louie's mom and Sister to come down and visit us this month.   Pray for safe travel.  And that Lupita (sister-in-law) does well since this is her first time flying in a plane.

Hello all! I figured since I've been a missionary for over two years it was about time to write an update on what the Lord has been doing in Mexico, and in my life personally! Because this is my first newsletter, I want to give a quick background to what I have been up to for the past 2 years here in Mexico. ROSARITO On January 10th, 2014, God called me to Mexico. For six months I was in Rosarito, Mexico, serving at a church as an intern. May Update!!

Blessing Friends and Family,                 It has been so wonderful to serve the Lord here in Mexico! Last month, we celebrated our first year of marriage and I couldn’t thank God enough for bringing my gorgeous wife in to my life. It has been an incredible blessing to be able to serve together. Calvary Chapel La Paz Our Church is Full -  It fills us with so much joy to   see the congregation growing at Calvary Chapel La Paz. The Lord has been faithful to bring new members to our church. It is exciting to see them involved in all the church events! Pillars Class-   The pillars class is designed for church members to get to know the church doctrine.   The first week of May we started the 7-week class. How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.  James 4:14 NLT Hey Everyone, this month we will like to share something that God spoke to our lives. At the beginning of the month we had plans to meet with a couple from the church to have dinner. As we were waiting outside for them to arrive, suddenly, we heard gunshots. When we thought it was all over, the shooting continued more intensely. Everyone immediately ducked down and got inside the restaurant as fast as they could.  We rushed upstairs, got on our knees and started to pray, asking God for everyone's safety. We later found out that a man was murdered and his wife was rushed in to the hospital. Neither of us had experienced anything like this, but God allowed us to realize that tomorrow is not promised for anyone.
