May Update!!
It has been so wonderful to
serve the Lord here in Mexico! Last month, we celebrated our first year of marriage
and I couldn’t thank God enough for bringing my gorgeous wife in to my life. It has been an incredible blessing to be able to serve together.Thank you for sending out your prayers and please send us any prayer request that you may have! Here are some recent pictures that we took here in La Paz.
Our Church is
Full - It fills us with so much joy to see
the congregation growing at Calvary Chapel La Paz. The Lord has been faithful to bring new members to our church. It is exciting to see them involved in all the church events!
Pillars Class- The pillars class is designed
for church members to get to know the church doctrine. The first week of May we started the 7-week
class. The 7 classes are Personal Devotion, Church, Fellowship, Baptism,
Giving, Evangelism, and Serving. We have had a total of 40 members of our church coming out to
these classes.
Bible College
Classes- Every Thursday night, we are taking a bible college
class at church. It is a overview of the old testament. About 20 people have begun to attend these classes.
Home Groups- This
month we started our home groups! My wife and I will be serving alongside Nestor who is currently the
youth leader. It’s been an answered
prayer! This helps us to get to know everyone from our church and to create new friendships. On May 21st, we had the honor of having
the youth come out and have a time of fellowship at our house. We had almost 20 people over, and it was a blessing to see how well they all clicked.
La Huerta Missions Schools –
We continue to
prepare everything at the campus for the coming of the students. It’s a very exciting time but also busy and
it will be busier once the day gets near!
We have received donations and we continue to put together the
dorms. This month we focused on getting
all the bunk beds and classrooms set up.
The Lord
provided for my mother and sister in law to come down and visit us this
month. They had a safe travel. Lupita (sister-in-law) did so well. They both enjoyed their time here with
us! If you ever want to come and visit we have an extra bedroom and would love to open our home!
